Walkways & entries
First impressions start at the curb. We build entries that match the home, not fight it.
How we build it
A walkway has a few jobs: get someone from A to B safely, drain water, and frame the front of the house. We design every walkway with all three in mind — generous widths at the door, a clear drainage pitch, and proportions that match the building it's attached to.
All walkways include matching step risers in the same paver family for a continuous, finished look.
What's included
Every job, every time.
- 01
Generous proportions
Minimum 48" wide at the entry — enough for two people to walk side-by-side without stepping into the lawn.
- 02
Step risers
Solid-block risers and bullnose treads in matching paver — no thin overlays that pop loose.
- 03
Frost-safe base
Same heavy gravel base as our driveways, scaled to walkway loads. No settling, no rocking.
- 04
Curb-to-door coordination
We coordinate the walkway with curb cuts, mailbox pads and lawn edging in one visit.

Common questions
Can you replace just the walkway, not the driveway?
Absolutely. Walkways are one of our most common stand-alone projects.
How long does a typical walkway take?
Most front-entry walkways with steps take 3–5 working days.
Do you handle landscape lighting?
We pre-sleeve for it and partner with two trusted lighting installers in the Ottawa area.
